Iqbal Hossain is the Chief Executive Officer of Nortech Technologies Ltd., a UK and Bangladesh based trading agency. Before coming into this business, Iqbal worked for Prometic in the United Kingdom and Sylhet Gas Fields Limited (SGFL), a company of Petrobangla in Bangladesh.


Iqbal is both a British and Bangladesh national and lives in the United Kingdom and Bangladesh. He completed a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering in 1992 from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh. He also completed MBA (Finance) in 2004 from UK and has an MSc in Management Information System (MIS) in 2012 from Cranfield University, UK.
